1. playground:
There is a playground in Govt. Music College (GMC) which is well secured with all over brick wall boundary. Students can play here till 4 pm to be physically and mentally fit for their studies.
2. Canteen:
A canteen named “Sur Baithak” is situated beside the boundary wall of GMC campus. Both the Customers including guardians from outside the college gate and students from inside the college premises can have access to the canteen. Breakfast, lunch and evening snacks menus are available here at affordable price.
3. Library
GMC has a huge collection of books written by national and international writers in its library. Adequate arrangements are there to study those books in a calm and quiet environment.
4. Hostel
At present GMC provides only its female students with hostel facilities inside the campus. A hostel super, assistant hostel super and security guards reside in the college campus. Thus security and well being of the students residing in the college hostel are well looked after.
5. Auditorium:
Although the college auditorium is not of a standard size, it is a place for numerous masterpiece musical programmes created by the teachers and students of GMC. A quarterly performance show named “Surer Kheya” is organised by each music department at the auditorium besides other official programmes.
