Vice-Principal’s Message

Govt. Music college is gradually becoming a part of our cultural heritage. It has a longstanding history. Eminent music scholar Pandit Barin Majumder founded this college as a kindergarten in 1963. Later it became a government college in 1984. This wonderful music college is creating some world-class music artists by rehearsing the pure form of music. Besides music, general subjects like Bangla, English, History, Political Science, Economics etc are also studied here with importance. Under the supervision of Education Engineering Department (EED) of the Ministry of Education, initiatives have been taken to build a multistoried building with a modern auditorium. In accordance with the instructions in government circulars, every national day is observed here with due respect and solemnity. Undoubtedly, this college will become a globally standard educational institution with its devoted teachers, students and staffs under the administration of our respected principal.
